Water Safari Resort joins National Vacation Plan effort

OLD FORGE — The National Vacation Day Plan, powered by the US Travel Association, is Tuesday, Jan. 25, and encourages Americans to plan their vacation days for the entire year early in the year. According to experts, many Americans don’t plan their vacations and end up not using their vacations.

The data also shows that while vacations are essential to the mental health and well-being of Americans, they are also a crucial benefit for American workers.

Nearly 70% of American workers agree that their ability to take vacations is an important factor in keeping them in the workforce.

In fact, paid time off is the second most important employee benefit an employer could offer after health insurance benefits.

“Americans say it’s important to use their paid vacation to travel. Vacations give us the opportunity to recharge and reconnect with family and friends, as well as explore more of our beautiful, diverse country,” added Dow.
