This dreamy Spanish resort has sleep coaches to help you catch your ZZZs

In today’s fast-paced world, many of us take advantage of free time to catch up on a well-deserved rest. If spending your holiday in the land of winks sounds like a dream come true, then Puente Romano in Marbella is for you.

A perfect night’s sleep

With studies indicating that 30% of people worldwide suffer from sleep disorders, Puente Romano Beach Resort has partnered with Spanish sleep specialists HOGO, inviting guests to experience the perfect night’s sleep.

HOGO has developed a state-of-the-art rest system designed to protect against electromagnetic pollution and improve health. The Spanish company’s philosophy is based on the principle that sleeping is one of the easiest ways to take care of yourself. Based on more than 30 years of scientific research and clinical studies, HOGO has created a system intended to allow the body to regenerate naturally during sleep. This is believed to lead to reduced biological age, lower baseline levels of cortisol – the stress hormone – increased production of melatonin and improved blood flow.

The “Miami of Spain”

Just 45 minutes from Malaga Airport, Puente Romano Beach Resort is ideally located on the Costa del Sol’s “Golden Mile” beachfront, between Marbella and Puerto Banús.

Dubbed the “Miami of Spain”, this sun-drenched part of Spain’s Mediterranean coast has long been favored by the European and global jet set. Some come to party, while others take the opportunity to relax at one of the ultra-exclusive resorts that line the beachfront.

Roman bridge

Designed as an Andalusian village-style resort, Puente Romano is made up of 180 spacious suites spread across a series of three-story villas surrounded by lush subtropical gardens and waterfalls.

Other features of the 600,000 square foot resort include 12 restaurants offering dishes from around the world, the only Six Senses spa in mainland Spain, with a hydrotherapy pool, cold plunge pool, herbal steam room, sauna and steam room, plus a range of fitness and wellness activities – from tennis and golf, to horse riding, paddleboarding, swimming, yoga and Pilates.

The HOGO Rest System

This year, the Puente Romano experience is even more dreamlike, as the resort’s exclusive Villa La Pereza has been transformed into a relaxing haven for a personalized experience designed by HOGO. The villa, which enjoys a privileged location in palm-filled gardens just steps from the seafront, has four bedrooms, its own heated swimming pool, solarium, fitness equipment, terrace and a living room.

Guests can enjoy sophisticated sleep on a HOGO rest system, consultation with a professional HOGO sleep coach, and access to an in-room sleep series, as well as special massages and meals designed to promote a better night’s sleep.

Customizable sleep experience

All the bases of Villa La Pereza’s HOGO rest system are customizable and can be adjusted according to the weight and curvature of the spine. The slats are adjusted according to the ergonomics of a person’s back. Made from coconut fibers and 100% natural materials, the resting system features a graphite and silver mesh that is connected to the ground and helps the body eliminate electromagnetic pollution, all in search of these ZZZ so important.
