What is Portofino Fashion?

Iconic’s style manager Nicole Adolphe, who curated Portofino’s selection, said timeless silhouettes and comfort should be in mind when planning your vacation wardrobe.

“There’s so much about 1920s fashion that’s still in style today, so we jumped at the chance to curate an edition that lets shoppers and fans play with fabrics, colors and looks that could transport them to the Italian Riviera of that era,” Ms. Adolphe said.

“We looked for pieces with a silhouette and feel similar to the characteristics of Portofino Hotel and was popular almost 100 years ago on the Italian seaside, including Peter Pan collars, belted swimsuits, wide-brimmed hats and knitted dresses. There’s also timeless menswear that features prominently in the series and the Edit: linen suits, pants and shirts, and the ever-trendy fedora.

“And we couldn’t live without accessories such as beach towels, colorful round sunglasses, sun hats and fancy jewelry that really bring the Italian beach look to life.”

Hotel Portofino is now streaming on Foxtel On Demand
