Tasty giraffe amazes guests inside Disney Resort this morning

What would you do if you wake up in your Disney World Resort and walk into the lobby to walk towards Magic Kingdom and notice a baby giraffe staring at you? Sounds a little terrifying, doesn’t it? Well, what if we told you the giraffe was actually a huge gingerbread cookie shaped into the majestic animal?

Walt Disney World Resort always takes vacations seriously, and there is so much more than just the park decorations that you can see at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort erects a massive Gingerbread House every year (except last year due to the pandemic), leaving visitors hungry for cookies, and now Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is heading into the gingerbread fun!

Disney Parks (@DisneyParks) tweeted that the resort’s team of pastry chefs built a baby giraffe out of gingerbread! Guests can see the creation on display until January 1!

Guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge woke up to a wild surprise in the lobby this morning! This gingerbread baby giraffe was made by our talented team of pastry chefs and is on display until January 1st.

Disney World guests can also enjoy the vacation by attending the Disney Very Merriest – After Hours event on select nights at the Magic Kingdom. In addition to this, guests can meet Santa Claus by visiting EPCOT in the American Pavilion as well as at Disney Springs.
