Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific is pleased to announce the appointment of Grant Seamer as Resort Manager at Club Wyndham Dinner Plain in Mt Hotham.
Mr. Seamer has extensive experience in hotel management, working in remote and alpine regions. He was the General Manager of Cradle Mountain Wilderness Lodge and ran his own cafe and restaurant in Tasmania. During the pandemic, he served as Deputy Director of Advocacy for Australia’s Small Business and Family Business Ombudsman.
Previously, Mr. Seamer was based in the Victorian Alps as Director of Marketing for Dinner Plain for the Alpine Shire and Director of Marketing and Events for Mount Baw Baw Alpine Resorts.
Dinner Plain is a charming Australian Alpine village nestled in the Victorian Alps. In winter, the village offers its own ski slope for beginners as well as toboggan runs and a snow playground. The Wyndham Dinner Plain Club is just 5 minutes from the renowned Mount Hotham ski slopes. During the warmer months, bush walks and mountain biking are popular ways to explore the countryside.
The resort offers lodge accommodation and fully furnished two, three and four bedroom chalets, all with stone and wood finishes and corrugated iron roofs typical of traditional high country ranchers’ huts.
The property is a Club Wyndham South Pacific resort, offering the area’s largest vacation club a range of alpine accommodation choices. The resort offers many on-site facilities, including a café and restaurant, cycling and walking trails, a heated outdoor spa, a fireside lounge bar and an outdoor barbecue area.
Warren Cullum, Senior Vice President of Hotel and Resort Operations, Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific, said, “We are proud to welcome Grant to the team. He is uniquely positioned to further enhance Club Wyndham Dinner Plain offerings and his extensive experience in managing properties in Alpine regions will greatly support our operations.
