KATHMANDU, April 4: The international hotel chain Shinta Mani Hotel, owned by Bill Belsley, is about to start providing its services in Nepal.
Shinta Mani Hotel has taken over the management of Moksha Hotel, a famous hotel in Mustang. Moksha Hotel is currently managed by Sherpa Hospitality Group. It is specified that the Shinta Mani Hotel will now manage this complex. Moksha Hotel is also considered as one of the famous hotels operated by Yeti Group.
Shinta Mani Hotel operates luxury hotels in various locations around the world. Shinta Mani is a famous brand that operates expensive hotels in the middle of the forest and in the wild.
A bilateral agreement has been reached for Shinta Mani Hotel to oversee the management of Moksha Hotel (complex) from October. The Moksha hotel was built with an initial investment of Rs 1.10 billion.
Yeti Group Chairman Sonam Sherpa said the deal was struck to pave the way for Shinta Mani Hotel to handle the entire management of the resort.
American architect Bill Bensley is credited with launching the Shinta Mani Hotel brand. He said his company had been successful in jungle tourism in Cambodia and believed it would be successful in Nepal as well.
It is said that works have been started to promote Jomsom as a major holiday destination for tourists from all over the world.
