Walt Disney World Resort is known as the “The most magical place on earth.”
While everyone knows Disney for its amazing theme parks – Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom – there’s something to be said for the magic of staying onsite at a Disney World Resort hotel.
Disney Resort hotels offer guests the opportunity to be totally immersed in the magic, from the moment they wake up in the morning until the moment they fall asleep at night. Staying on site gives you access to free transportation — either by bus, the Disney Skyliner, the monorail, or the ferry — to the Disney Parks and is a great way to get the most out of your trip to Walt Disney World Resort.
However, the reality of operating hotels and theme parks is that mishaps do happen from time to time, even at The Most Magical Place On Earth.
Disney guest Christopher OHara recently shared a video with Inside the Magic from Disney’s All-Star Movies Resortwhere major flooding can be seen inside the hotel room.

The incident took place earlier this week and the first floor of the Disney World Resort’s Lovebug Building was reportedly flooded due to a water main break. The guest shared that it happened around 10:00 p.m. in the evening and everyone on the first floor was moved while it was raining.
OHara also shared that Disney cast members worked hard to move every guest in a timely manner. While such incidents can happen, they are very rare, and when they do occur, Disney cast members are expertly trained to handle these situations and take care of guests during the process.
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort gives you the chance to explore with some of your favorite Disney friends, as you lead your own all-star adventure. Disney Resort Hotel pays homage to Disney movie legends, dotted puppies from 101 Dalmatians to play toys in Andy’s Room, with a larger-than-life whimsical decor.
