Concord Police Department’s Vacation Home Check Program is back

CONCORD, CA – The Concord Police Department recently announced that its vacation home verification program is back and of service, and residents are more than welcome to take advantage. The program is free.

According to the police department, trained volunteers will perform a thorough inspection of your property at least once a week while you are away, paying particular attention to the details you provided on the online Vacation Home Verification Request Form. .

Vacation home checks include a perimeter check, a physical and / or visual check of all doors and windows, checking for vehicles left on the property, and checking for anyone found on the property.

Holiday voucher requests must be submitted online at least 48 hours before the departure date and cannot be requested more than 60 days, police said.
