The Kennebunkport Resort Collection – comprised of 11 signature luxury hotel / vacation rentals and six world-class restaurants in Kennebunkport, Maine – has announced 2 new appointments to its management team.
Kristie sibley, a former restaurant manager at the Boathouse Waterfront Restaurant, has been promoted to senior food and beverage manager at Kennebunkport Resort Collection.
Kristie graduated from the Culinary Institute of America with a baking and pastry degree. She began her career with KRC in 2018 when she joined the opening team of The Boathouse Waterfront Restaurant and, throughout her time with KRC, developed and implemented a thoughtful leadership framework focused on l The importance of cadence, critical thinking and collaboration as pillars that create operational efficiencies and drive success in F&B. Kristie’s daily celebration of the team concept and her passion for the “world of drinks” is evident when you see her in action.
Chef Joe received his training through the New England Culinary Institute’s Accelerated AP Program. He joined the team in 2017 as Executive Chef of Earth at Hidden Pond and has continued to make his mark on the dining experience at KRC properties ever since. Two things most admired about Chef Joe are his natural inclination to always teach, never forgetting the importance of being an eternal student of the industry. Chef Joe is a chef who is familiar with a multitude of genres who brings a humble approach to his craft and has a deep-rooted passion for all things ice cream. Chef Joe will take over all the properties of the Kennebunkport Resort Collection with his new title, in addition to his current role as Executive Chef of Hidden Pond and the Tides Beach Club.
